The Project Closure Phase is the last phase in the project life cycle. During this phase the project is formally handed over, financial and commercial close out of the contracts are initiated. Organizations leverage this phase to reflect on the success and tribulations of the project. Lessons Learned are collected, reviewed and documented for future use in.
3EDGE Lessons Learned (LL) Workshops are interactive sessions that are conducted throughout each of the project phases to answer the following questions:
- What worked well in the project?
- What could have been improved in the project?
- What should be done differently next time?
3EDGE has also developed tools and techniques for the establishment of organizational Knowledge Management Systems and Project Benchmarking Indices that promotes the sharing and reuse of project information to increase the success of future projects.
